What are Connect Groups?
Being a part of One Church @ Harvest Point is more than a once a week corporate worship service. Connect groups are designed to build relationships by providing a place for members to connect and grow. It is our hope that members will connect with a ministry and live in the community.
Who
Harvest Point connect groups are open to everyone in the community.
What
Groups come in various shapes and sizes, from singles to married, men, women, kids, no kids, young adults, empty nesters, athletic — you name it! No matter where you are in life, there’s a group for you.
When
New groups start three semesters each year: spring, summer, and fall. There is usually an opportunity to join a group at any time during the year.
Where
Connect Groups meet in homes, on campus, or online.
Types of Connect Groups
Study Groups
Study groups are specifically designed to aid individuals in their spiritual journey toward Christ. The purpose is to help them become more Christ-like, surrender to His Lordship, develop a thirst for His Word, and love Him more deeply. By studying the Scripture together, group members gain a deeper understanding of God’s character and expectations and allow the Bible to speak into their lives.

Life & Stage Groups
The purpose of a Life and Stage Connect groups gather in-person or online around specific areas of life stages or interests. We have Life Groups for Men, Women, Young Adults, Married Couples, Parents with Children, Singles, and Seniors.
CareGroups
God desires to redeem our pain and restore joy through His power and Christian community. He promises: “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on Me because the LORD has anointed Me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners; to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor, and the day of our God’s vengeance; to comfort all who mourn” (Isaiah 61:1-2). Care groups are a place to heal from those hurts by allowing space to face them in a safe community.
Missional Connect Groups
A missional connect group is a gathering of Christians who are on a mission with God, obeying the Holy Spirit, and creatively sharing the gospel with a specific group of people outside of the church. These communities serve as spiritual and relational outposts for those who cannot or will not participate in traditional church gatherings.
