Sisters, are you tired or heavy burdened? God simply says come and He will give us rest. There is no one that can give us rest that our Heavenly Father offers us. Come experience rest, relaxation, and renewal at this year’s Women’s Conference, “Rest!”. It’s simple. Don’t overthink it. Don’t talk yourself out of it.
Join us from 10AM on February 2nd to 12 PM on February 3, 2018.
Don’t overthink it. Don’t talk yourself out of it.

Session A – “The Destruction of Rest through Busy-ness”
Description: There are many ways that our rest can be destructed. Sometimes we have no control over its destruction such as sickness or grief. Other times, we unknowingly destruct our rest through conflict, unconfessed guilt, or busy-ness.. Often times, women like to brag about all of the “irons they have in the fire”. We take pride in being “busy” because we assume being busy is equivalent to being productive. Although scriptures cautions us against laziness (Proverbs 10:4, 26; 12:24; 13:4), scripture also warns us to be on guard so that our hearts are not weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life.….but to be alert at all times (Luke 21:34-36). This does not mean that we should not strive to be like the Proverbs 31 woman, but we should ask God for wisdom and discernment. Is your busy life preventing you from getting rest? Learn how to identify the traps and release yourself by pursuing wisdom through prayer.
Who did Jesus invite to rest? He invited the 12 disciples. He knew they needed rest from their ministry and the continuing demands from the people. God knows that each of us needs rest. He has provided sleep and the Sabbath specifically for rest. Come and learn more about God’s provision and purpose of rest.
God promises His people spiritual rest (Heb 4:9-11). Joshua led the nation of Israel into the land of their promised rest, but this was merely the earthly rest which was only a shadow of what will come with our heavenly rest. For believers, God’s rest includes His peace, confidence of salvation, reliance on His strength, and assurance of a future heavenly home. Spiritual rest is not for the wicked (Ps 1:4-5). Scripture tells us there is not peace for the wicked (Isaiah 48:22). Don’t you want to know more about what God has promised you?
- Ministry Rest, Reset, & Restart
Ministry burnout is real! Even Jesus needed physical rest (Jn 4:6; Mk 4:38). Learn the signs of ministry burnout for yourself and also to be able to identify them in other believers in order to lift them up in prayer. Learn how to “pause” and get spiritually fed.
- Maximizing Resources to find Nuggets of Rest
We will not be granted more than 24 hours in the day or personal assistants so we have to work with what we have? What is your current schedule? Who are the key stakeholders (i.e. husband, kids, employees)? What are the non-negotiables? What is being neglected? Who in your inner circle can contribute more help?
