 Lawrence is the planting and Lead Pastor of Harvest Point Fellowship Church. His ministry experience spans many years, serving in various positions within the local church. He believes that the Church should be culturally relevant while maintaining Biblical integrity.

A man who values family, Lawrence is a devoted husband and father. He is married to the love of his life, the beautiful and gifted Shannon Scott. They have five children, Kaelyn, Leah, Eden, Lawrence III and Zachary. Shannon has served alongside her husband for many years and currently serves on the leadership team for our Women’s Ministry. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education and Minor in Christian Counseling from Liberty University. They are both passionate about helping people discover their God given purpose.  Pastor Lawrence enjoys spending time with his family and trying different cuisines (i.e. he eats a lot).

Lawrence earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Houston and a Master of Theology (ThM) degree from Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS). He is currently pursuing his doctorate from DTS in Dallas, Texas.

Lloyd is a native of Alexandria, Louisiana and the 9th of 12 siblings. Lloyd moved to Houston, Texas in 1971. He is married to Eveline Howard Kirk, the love of his life, and they reside in Pearland. He retired from Shell Oil in 2011 after 34 years of service. Lloyd had a divine encounter with the Lord in 1986 resulting in him surrendering his life vowing to live for the Lord forever. He accepted his call to ministry in 1988. He was founder and pastor of Living Word Church in South Houston for 17 years. He has held leadership positions in several area churches. Lloyd has been a key speaker at several seminars and is responsible for several church Prison Ministries in Houston. He graduated from the College of Biblical Studies Houston with a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Counseling in 2014. Lloyd also holds a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary Houston. Lloyd and Eveline are blessed with a blended family of 6 adult children and 24 grandchildren. Lloyd is very passionate and gifted in his service to God and his fellow man. He’s a faithful and dedicated servant, preacher—teacher and is completely committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Tehrie was born in McComb, Ms, and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. For the last nine years Houston, TX has been home for her and her husband. Tehrie met her husband John-Clinton Ned in Lafayette, Louisiana while pursuing a BS degree in nursing at UL-Lafayette. Tehrie received her Master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University and is a nurse practitioner with Northwest Internal Medicine. As a licensed medical professional, Tehrie works with a number of prominent and well-known physicians in and around the Houston area. John is a hardworking, ambitious, professional businessman (entrepreneur), and the owner of a successful Colbert and Ball Tax Service and an Oil and Gas Firm. The Neds continue to establish their presence in the community by donating to charities and supporting the efforts of others as they attempt to promote the value of good business relations, and the importance of community involvement. They have two children; Lauryn is 4 going on 22, and John-Clinton, Jr. is 2. As a wife and mother, Tehrie cherishes motherhood and demonstrates the importance of family values. A Christian for many years, her greatest ambition is to live a life dedicated first to God and His purpose for her life. Worship is her passion, and on a few occasions, she has had the opportunity to travel and worship abroad with the N’Harmony gospel ensemble sharing ministry through song, and the love of Christ. Reverend Senegal is married to Dr. Rose Senegal Chief Clinical Officer/Chief Nursing Officer of Cornerstone Hospital. Together they parent two children, Brandon Jamal, and Maegan Raycelle. 23 years ago in 1991 Reverend Senegal received his call from God to the ministry at New Faith Church under the leadership of Dr. TR. Williams where he served as the Assistant to the Youth & Children’s Minister and later promoted to the Children’s Minister where he served for 8 years. In April of 1999, Reverend Senegal resigned his position and pursued a higher calling to assist Pastor Terrance H. Johnson in organizing Higher Dimension Church. Kenneth Senegal has and is continued to be an awesome display of what the Lord can do through consistent commitment, courage, and continued prayer. Reverend Senegal currently held the position of Chief Operating Officer of Higher Dimension Church for 15 years. In may of 2014 Reverend Senegal left to pursue the vision that God had given to his family for Stability Services a church consulting company to assist churches in assessments, systems implementation, acquisitions, construction and church operations.

LaMonica Orr-Love is an attorney and business management consultant with a track record of effective leadership and strategic thinking in large project implementation. She has provided services to companies such as BP Corporation and Hess Corporation, in practice areas focused on Exploration and Production, with a concentration on offshore assets. As a successful project manager, she communicates effectively with senior leadership keeping them advised in a fast-paced environment while improving interdepartmental goals and objectives. She is constantly improving work productivity and efficiency – meeting 100% of targeted deadlines. LaMonica has managed large teams of attorneys tasked with reviewing and analyzing millions of documents for litigation and corporate restructure projects. LaMonica is committed to the greater Houston community. She has devoted over 250+ pro bono hours to drafting wills and estate documents for senior citizens and low-income individuals. She is also a past graduate of the United Way of Greater Houston – Project Blueprint Leadership Development Program. After completing this program, LaMonica serves on the Young Leaders Giving Council and as an advisor on the Bi-Annual Community Reinvestment Project. As a member of Harvest Point, LaMonica also serves as a Leader with our Girls Ministry and is a volunteer in Children’s Ministry. LaMonica is married to her college sweetheart, Michael Love, and they have two beautiful children, Blake and Blaire.

Kory Fontenot was born in Houston, TX where he attended Evan E. Worthing High School. He went on to receive a B.S. in Biology from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Ga. After Graduation, Reverend Fontenot began teaching science at Fondren Middle School through Teach For America. Kory taught at Nolan Ryan Junior High for 6 years before resigning to pursue a career as a full-time photographer. Kory is currently enrolled in the Master of Divinity (MDiv.) program. Kory Fontenot serves in the missions ministry and the young adult ministry alongside his wife, Elan Fontenot. They have two daughters and one son; Jaelan, Addison, and Hayden. Favorite Scripture: “19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:19-20

He is married to his high school sweetheart LaMundy Lewis and they are the parents of three beautiful children, Braylyn, Chris Jr. and Aloni Lewis. Chris is currently attending College of Biblical Studies pursuing a degree in Pastoral Ministries. With over 20 years experience as a ministry leader, Chris has a strong desire to follow the will of God for his life.

I am an elementary educator, obtained a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, worked as a preschool director, summer camp director, and wrote instructional curriculum for public and private organizations.

Kuan L. Mitchell, born November 25, 1987, in New Orleans, LA raised to be a humble, God fearing individual. He is the seventh child out of eleven children and was raised by a single parent mother, Edith Farlough and reared by his grandfather, Harding Farlough. Kuan graduated from Prairie View A&M University in the fall of 2011 with a Bachelors in Music Education specializing in Percussion. While there he gained membership into Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America Inc. his sophomore year. His wife and best friend Heather Mitchell is an educator and an alumna of Prairie View as well. They have two intelligent young men, Quincy (15), Ryan (12).

At age three, many musicians in the Dallas-Fort Worth area considered Jonathan Collins a young prodigy. By age seven he received his call to ministry at his home church, Greater Saint Stephens First Church out of Fort Worth, Texas. His passion and respect for music gave him the opportunity to become the primary drummer and overseer for the music ministry. By age ten he began traveling as a soloist (drums) and played for many church events, youth camps, and weddings. Jonathan’s first big break was at a LifeWay’s 2008 Christian Conference in Ridgecrest, North Carolina, he received an offer to play in front of a thousand plus youth. While fulfilling his musical passion at Harvest Point Church, he is currently studying at Texas Southern University to receive a Bachelor of Art in Music.

Recently retired from HISD as a Senior Army Instructor, Milby High School. He is married to Sister Sherita Benson, and they have 3 children, Chris, Khadijah, & Christopher. There are still sounds of little feet moving around throughout the day and night at home by their baby whom some of you haven’t seen before, ROSCO, their little 4 leg Yorkie. Dr. Terence Houston Growing up as a “PK”, Terence was taught about Christ at an early age in a home that believed in the power of prayer and the importance of having faith in God. As a young adult, he grew in his commitment of living a life that honors God. With spiritual gifts of giving and serving, Terence is naturally a servant and seeks to show the love of Christ to everyone he encounters. Terence is a native of Tallahassee, Florida. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy at Florida A&M University and established a career as a Clinical Pharmacist. He is honored to be married to his college sweetheart, Dr. Eardie Houston. Together, they have three brilliantly gifted children, twin sons David & Joshua, and daughter Christian. The Houston family enjoys strengthening their bond through quality time, travel, and serving. Lonnie is a native of Birmingham, Alabama and is a devoted husband and father of two daughters Corrie & Cassie Mathews. Lonnie met his wife Carrie Mathews while attending the University of Alabama where Carrie earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering. Lonnie is an eight veteran of the United States Marine Corps, has a B.S. degree in finance & Investment Management from U.A. and an M.S. Degree in Accounting from Strayer University. Lonnie is an accomplished speaker and author in the area of personal finance and travels the country speaking on various financial topics. When not traveling and directing his non-profit organization Alliance Financial Ministries, Lonnie enjoys remaining physically fit, reading and spending time with his family. As a devoted man of GOD, I love studying his word and applying it to my life.
